Data Sources & Methodology

Every number on this site, where it comes from, and how fresh it is. We'd rather tell you a quote is 15 minutes delayed than pretend it's a tick feed.

How we keep it honest

An automated health monitor checks every data surface every 5 minutes — price freshness, response speed, and cross-source consistency. Anything older than two days trips an alarm and gets fixed before you have to notice. Sort orders are computed over the full dataset, never just the visible page.

Known limitations

Free public feeds mean stock quotes are usually 15–20 minutes behind the exchange and a handful of small-cap names can disagree between sources on market cap (supply data differs). Where sources conflict beyond plausibility, we discard the outlier rather than guess.
